How to make my own business cards

How I did it: I designed the card myself using illustrator and photoshop in a mac environment, got them printed via GotPrint.com and had them shipped at my place just in time for the illustration show :) Lessons & tips: The best impression on making yourself look "professional" is to make sure you have great colour and look on your card. People DO judge you based on your card. Also, consider what kinds of paper to use since quality of paper equates to a better impression. Resources: Photoshop, Illustrator, Mac, a printing service, and my printer for test runs

I finally got them made!!! All for grad show, and made about 100-250 (forgot the exact number of cards) for the show, in which more than half was gone in the past two days of the opening! Grad show is near, so I made a set of business cards. Replaced the old design with something simple and fun to look at. I’ll be posting images of it once I get them!

I’ve been looking at moo.com and OMG I love what they do! I am very tempted to use them rather than print my own. Must make my self compair the cost, and not just use them cos they have a nice website.

I am 51 years old, and I just removed myself from a 30 year, alcoholic, abusive marriage. I am currently studying for my GED, and I hope to start North Idaho College in the winter quarter. My short term goal is to get my GED. My long term goals is to get my AA degree, then enroll into Clayton College, where I will study to get my Doctrine in Holistic medicine. This has been my dream for 10 years. I am interested in talking and sharing with people who are trying to put there life back together.
