Yep, I do some form of exercise everyday. Now that I’m working, I’m always on the move and then some…lol. On my days off, I’m out in the yard or walking. When I get a regular schedule going, I’ll add more walking. 11 months ago

I’ve been do at least 3 miles plus the last 3 days (including the 6 I did yesterday). I’m feeling good and fully intend to increase my walking every few days until I hit 10 miles. 12 months ago
I tried to take my walk before it rained. Guess what? I didn’t make it…lol. I walked a mile away from home and down it came. I thoroughly enjoyed it though. It was awesome! Kind of felt like a kid again playing in the rain. I was soaked to the max when I got back home but it was worth it. 12 months ago

Besides walking, I’ve been doing other things to add to my walking exercise. I going to increase my walking distance every week.
My distance & steps according to my pedometer:
5/3 walking; 1.1 miles (2301 steps)
10 minutes of ‘Sweatin’ to the Oldies’
5/4 walking; 1.1 miles (2262 steps)
5/5 walking; 1.1 miles (2374 steps)
45 minutes of yard work
5/6 walking; 1.1 miles (2203 steps)
30 minutes of yard work
5/7 walking; l.l miles (2374 steps)
45 minutes of yard work
5/8 walking; l.l miles (2337 steps)
Approx. 2 hrs of yard work

When I went walking today, I had my two daughters, a friend and my granddaughter with me. We had a great time.
I also finished my little cactus garden plus some other yard work.
I have more energy now than I’ve had in awhile.

Before I went for my walk, I was telling myself I didn’t want to. I kept telling myself I was too tired while I was putting on my shoes & socks. I kept telling myself to sit and rest on the porch as I was walking out the door. I told myself I would only walk to the corner and back (.2 miles). At the next corner I told myself it was time to turn around (.4 miles). When I finally got back home I had walked 1.1 miles….

Still walking everyday plus doing extra work out in the yard and around the house. I’m totally enjoying it. I also have 3 other ladies walking with me now. Sometimes I even take my grandkids. They enjoy it! 12 months ago
