not become my parents

...because its sort of inevitable. i mean, they are my parents after all, and the more i grow the more i can see that they are part of who i am. it’s kind of stupid for me to say that i don’t want to become my parents, because i’m obviously not going to – everyone is different – but also, they are already part of me. so i wont become them, but i won’t not become them either.
what i meant by this goal is that i don’t want to make the same mistakes in my life as they did in theirs. but i’ve sort of covered that in other goals now. and you know, they’re good people, my parents. it wouldn’t be too bad to turn out like them. i just don’t want to fuck things up is all.
