find people to play Magic: The Gathering with

A new guy at work asked me bout Magic cards & asked if I’d ever heard of them. He has a friend who plays it & got him interested in it, so I think I’ll try to teach him a bit more. I’ve been bringing some of my collection to work to show him.

The other person is actually my wife. I guess she’s starting to get into it, too. So I’m going to start her with the basics & see how it goes from there.

the thing is…I’ve got no one to play with. In high school I was in a card playing club and played it all the time. I must have 1,000’s of cards.
Now if only I could find people to play with… :\

I guess I’ll just have to go to one on a Friday night and watch some games and get to know some players.

i just recently got into this and bought a fifth dawn starter deck and picked up a couple boosters and that deck is pretty sick. I went down to Carson city and picked up a cold snap fat pack because, well, i don’t really know why but i’ve only played that deck once. I’m trying to get people to play in my town but i can’t find anybody. I live in the North Lake Tahoe area and would really enjoy some magic games with me since i’ve probably only played less then 20 games total.

But that was in college … now I moved away and have no one to play with :(
