... re-start practicing! Copying Pericoli´s portraits will be a good re-launch.
I also want to visit exhibitions more often. Last time I was in an art exhibit: the female impressionists in Frankfurt back in late March, which were so enjoyable. Visiting museums and seeing art is a good training as well.

Definitely suggest it. You’d learn how to understand and analyze art.

I could see this goal never getting completed… there’s always room for improvement.

Manga & Anime characters touch the ultimate stage when the character’s story is fantastic and attractive! (this is my opinion)

1. Buy a sketchbook
2. Buy a bunch of pencils
3. Buy a pencil sharpener
4. Buy Mark Linley’s “How to Draw Anything” OR “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” at Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble
5. Spend an insane amount of time drawing anything you see that interests you
This is basically all that I did. I’m still not where I can be in the museum… but maybe I will be able to one day.

that’s about it, I need to practice and just get more technical, and know what I’m doing better, and I just have to do it a lot.

Well from my experience the best way to improve your skills in drawing is keeping yourself motivated and inspired. Studying Anatomy is a great way to to warmup. I actually copy the images in Anatomy Books, its a great way to warmup and familiarize with body proportions and its functions.
