Create a to do list every night and do all the things on it the next day

I just bought To Do Post-it note pads—they have enough space to write down a decent to-do list and are pre-numbered, but they’re not long enough to get out of control or be too unwieldy. I’m going to write my list every night before bed, and then stick it next to my keys so I see it in the morning. Hopefully if I start getting a few more things done each day I’ll be less stressed out and more organized in general :)

I have ten books with great style

I was just getting used to writing everything down when I realised this morning that I couldn’t find where my little notebook has gone! I have to start again!

Wow! I’ve been writing out a to do list for the past three days and I’m so very glad that I did! I’ve just noticed a pottery class I want to take starts TOMORROW morning! I had forgotten all about it! But I just rang up and I’m still in the class! A great start to this new organisation!

I seem to do this only when I feel I’m in a crunch and a crisis, but I would love to develop some system to help myself remember the things I need to do!

when written on a notepad left on my nightstand. I may not have mamy formal entries. The goal does remind me to do it until it is a habit.

Finish cleaning my kitchen.
pack 6 more boxes.
take the wet clothes to the laundrymat so I can dry them.
get info so I can take Neem to the parade.
Style Neem’s hair for the holiday.
polish my nails.
confirm travel arrangements.
Call April.

Today I will:
Do laundry
Mail Neem’s letter to her penpal
buy new pants for me and Neem
get more packing materials
wash and braid Neem’s hair
Do my nails
Set clothes out for sunday service
get a movie for girl’s night
make fudge with Neem

Edit: Well this is a day I wasn’t able to do anything on this list. I should have said

Today I will:
Have car trouble and pray my way home.
Forfeit my roadtrip to get my supplies for the day.
Send Neem to a friend for a sleep over.
Spend the evening at home alone drinking tea by the fire watching Marilyn Monroe movies.
