Sorry I’m late! I hope you have a great year, and that the birds flock to wherever you bring your camera.:)
Here’s one I took in Paris a couple of years ago. Sometimes birds do the darndest things.:)
How I did it: My son's birthday is October 3rd so, his was so easy to remember. I read Dan's daily journal every day or almost every morning along with others. I love his style of writing.
And look forward to pictures he takes during his morning jog.

Last night I was sending a happy birthday wish to your 43T birthday twin, SG, and I decided to send you one, too. I find that having a 43T birthday twin (wren) makes a celebrating a birthday here even more fun, and I hope the same goes for you.
.
I’m glad to read this morning that you took the day off to celebrate your birthday, and had a good time, including a session of birdwatching. I wish you a fantastic year to come, filled with birds, music, love, and adventure, all the while happily asserting imperfection each day. Many happy returns!
melissa You want to fight about it?
Happy Birthday to one of my favorite 43Ters. Srsly, you’re awesome. :-)
I hope the day has been everything you imagined it might be and more. I like reading about your days and you seem like the kind of person I would enjoy spending days getting to know. I hope your friends have all had joy in showing you that they are enjoying your day, too. Happy birthday!
RagazzaRaffinata One day at a time.
Happy Birthday Dan!
I hope you are having a wonderful day and enjoying every moment. You are one of my favourite 43T people; thanks for all your consistent cheers and comments throughout the past year. :)
~ Julie ~ yup....
I hope you have a great day and a wonderful unpredictable life along with new experiences and unforgettable moments!!!

It’s hard to believe it’s already been over a year since I met Dan down in Redondo Beach. You would think it was just yesterday that I saw him approaching and called out to him. I really enjoyed my time with him, and look forward to when we can get together again. That’s one of the nice things about 43T, as well as one of the bad. Dan is such a great guy, and I’m glad I’ve gotten to know him here. Unfortunately there’s a whole country between us so I can’t just call him up and invite him out to do something. I’ve had great times with lots of 43ers, and would love to spend more time with them in person, but we have to make do with our interaction here because of the distance between us. Here are my wishes for my friend Dan for the coming year:
May he recognize that he is more assertive than what he used to be, and that he uses it in positive ways. May he continue to make improvements on his swimming, particularly in his comfort with breathing. And may he tackle riding a bike with the same commitment and enthusiasm that he has done with swimming.
Waterfall Nymph Everything I want for Christmas is intangible.
I’m sending you a Red Tailed Hawk from my meadow (though not my photograph, I don’t seem to have your skill with catching birds in the lens). I somehow doubt you see many of them near you.
I’ve really enjoyed following you through the last year and hope that your coming year is filled with more birds, more swims, and more delicious meals.
Happy birthday!
