I would like one with storage drawers. Does anyone have information how to do it? It would be great for my tiny bedroom in a condo.

My husband & I have the same problem as so many of you. Searched for the right bed due to back pain-spent the money on the “perfect Tempurpedic” and we’re both in more pain now than ever. We now need to build a frame for a king soft side waterbed AND the T-pedic. Husband is talking about building the typical frame with those stupid X’s in the center. I don’t want that kind of frame. All I want is simple, but creative and easy to build. Too much to ask?!! Anyone have any creativity you can share???

I got a leep number bed and rather than buy the bottom frame for $400plus I want to build a box frame and lag bolt the legs for extra support. Looking for inside suport or measurements. Small room needs simplicity

My husband and I would like to make a bed that has four trees as the posts.
Like, find four tall sturdy trees of a relatively similar height, uproot them, use water pressure to clean them, and cover them in lacquer, and use them in the place of the posts on an already existing bed frame.

I dunno if that would even work. lol

Build a bed frame for two full-size mattresses?! 15 months ago

I like soft mattresses, and my girlfriend likes hard mattresses. We hated the sleep number and we just bought a $2000 Tempurpedic last year that she says kills her back. As a last resort, we’d like to put our hard full and our tempurpedic full together, but we’ll need to build a super-sturdy extra-large custom bed frame to do it.

I bought a Queen size mattress, so I tweaked the design to accommodate the new size. I bought the wood for the top part of the frame (the part that holds the bed) yesterday and I’m going to be putting it all together asap so I can see how it will look and work before I buy the rest of the material. Yay.
