In my school French is an compulsory subject. At first i used to hate French language,I mean they speak one thing and write another thing.I used to find it so boring & i think i failed in at least 3 class tests last year.To get some help I went to Alliance Francais, but that didn’t help either. This year my dad took me to Paris and i can’t tell you how much it helped me in school. Now i go to learn french with my friends. Now i am not shy to speak french in front of anyone. But i cant really speak French fluently, but i am hoping to in a few years

Another of my goals is to one day visit Paris and not stick out like the touristy American that I really am. I’ve taken French way back in High School (waaay back). I’m thinking of doing the Rosetta Stone thing. Does anyone know if that really works?
i really want to learn how to speak a language other than English fluently, and i figure that French is such a romantic language, i have to learn!
(Yeah, I hope I spelled that right. I took French way back in the day but I can never remember how to spell nay of it.) Well, you would think that after 3 years of taking French in highschool, I would remember more than that phrase up there and “Bon Vayage!” but I do not… =( I still have my $400.00 dollar French speaking packit thingie my mother bought me while I was in highschool to help aid me in my studies. I also have this really nifty book called, “How To Survive In French”. But I’m debating on whether or not I should it or not because I have ben told that some of the phrase or words in that book are spelled incorrectly, or have the wron definitions beside them.
