Red, Not Blue 2 years ago

I was all set to go blue, or purple. But then I talked to the stylist and I learned all kinds of things. Like the fact that your hair has to be stripped and then dyed and the color doesn’t even last that long before fading. So I’ve decdied to forgo the blue dream. Instead, I had my hair colored all over with red and then blonde highlights with coppery lights too. It looks great- fun but not so edgy that I can’t have a corporate job.

I have made a decision 2 years ago

My goal is to go blue early November, for my birthday. I think I’ll have my overall color darker with added blue highlights. Yay. But I will only do it if I lose weight. Maybe yay.

Either you do this with stuff you can wash out, or not have a professional career 3 years ago

For me, since I have a responsible :-) job, I have done streaks and whatnot only with stuff that washes out. You might think that’s chicken of me, but I’m over 40 years old, I’m not supposed to put pattenly fake colors in my hair at my age as it is.

How to 3 years ago

Bleach the MONKEYS out of your hair ‘till it goes really blonde (better get a hairdresser to do this) buy some directions hair dye, (google it.) Mines currently Turquoise, but has been blue before now, I get alot of “Nice hair!”

Blue gunk: $5. 3 years ago

Alrighty, this is happening very soon. Got blue gunk as well as a scarily-eager-Harleen assistant. Woo! Should I be afraid?

...I’d just go with a good brand of hairdye over a cheap brand if I were to do it again.

So far I’ve highlighted my hair brownish-red. I want to highlight it blue or teal one day. But my mom won’t let me. =(
