I’ve lived in Iowa my entire life. Every year that goes by I hate winter here more and more. I would like to try living somewhere in the south. I still want four seasons, but I don’t want such harsh winters. I’m thinking of places like North Carolina or Georgia. I doubt I’ll actually ever just pack up and move away, but it’s nice to dream about it and have a bit of hope that someday it could happen.

i want to move sooo bad, i dont care where in the states, or where ever, i just want to go!!, meet new friends, besides that all my friends moved away to far away places. so why cant i.
I want to go soooooooo bad. I am in the process of deciding where it is I want to live. My son and I. It’s going to be hard and I’m scared at the thought of it, but I’m excited more than anything. It’s like, where I live, the people that are lucky enough to move away and start something new someplace better, they always come back. ALWAYS. All of them. Except one of my good friends. Her and her son left and I haven’t seen them in almost 2 years. I want that to be me. It will be. I just have to figure out where…Maybe NC..Charlotte I think…
I would love to live in the NC mountains, North Georgia, East Tennessee. Anywhere but South Florida.
After visiting Georgia for a week we decided to see if we could sell out house in NY and buy one in Ga. With in one week of being home we had our house on the market and a bid for full asking price. 4 months later we moved.
Its scary to move away from everything you know, but it is empowering as well.
depending on your motivations for moving to another state, it can be liberating and a wonderful step for your life. I’ve moved more times than i can count on both hands in my 28 years on this earth and I think I’m getting to be quite good at it. In fact, i’m thinking about moving once again.
After my divorce is final, I am free to live anywhere I want to. There’s a big, beautiful world out there and Georgia is calling me. Any city suggestions?
