I don’t just like that exerpt from Man in the arena, I love it. I work with a lot of people who this applies to; they are out there where it matters, making a difference to peoples’ lives. There are also people here on 43T that are working to overcome obstacles of varying shapes and sizes who have had knock-backs, dusted themselves off and got back on it.

It’s a reminder to me, to make sure I am taking my place in the arena. No smiley emoticons here, I actually mean this! 3 years ago

I had a few quotes lined up for this goal, but then I read through them again and they didn’t really speak to me in the same way as when I first noted them down a few months ago. Strange.

I don’t really want to send you away empty handed on your first visit to this goal, it’s probably not good manners. It is a bit of a struggle to come up with something briliant at short notice though, but…
