watch "my so called life"

i have just finished. it’s amazing. it was like.. I was angela and I was in love with jordan catalano. and rayanne and ricky were my friends.

“It just seems like you agree to have a certain personality or something. For no reason. Just to make things easier for everyone. But when you think about it, I mean, how do you know it’s even you?”

Used to be my favourite show.
Does it still air? I haven’t seen it in years.

Jordan: “I was so close yesterday, but it wasn’t enough. She was, like, starved…or something.”

Danielle: “My life is different people kicking me out of different rooms.”

I had never seen this episode so it was a nice surprise, and a little less dramatic than the others.

“I loved Jordan Catalano so much, and talked about him so much, and thought about him so much, it was like he lived inside me. Like he had taken possession of my soul, or something. And then one day… I got over him!”

“What I was thinking, as like a New Year’s resolution, is to stop getting so caught up in my own thoughts, ‘cause I’m like way too introspective. I think…”

Danielle: “Do we have to keep talking about religion? It’s Christmas.”

Amber: “You don’t have to go to school today.”
Rayanne: “No, I want to. Poor Rickie probably had, like, 40 heart attacks.”

“People always say how you should be yourself. Like your self is this definite thing, like a toaster or something.”

“So I tried to be invisible. It’s surprisingly possible. You just sit in the back and keep quiet and let the boys shout out the answers, which they will, even if they’re wrong. Boys are less afraid of being wrong.”
