the X-Factor tickets, so have applied or registered interest in a few more shows. I’m wondering whether it’s worth going for a low-key show, like a quiz show that no one watches, as i’m more likely to get tickets but trekking to (most likely) London just to see something crap may be pointless just for the sake of the goal. Think i’ll hold out for a half decent show for now.

to be in X-Factor audience in Cardiff. Most of the shows are in/near London on weekdays so not as easy to get to but this show isn’t too far away and happens to be when i’ve got a week off – just got to wait for confirmation. Pick me! Pick me!

I went to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in NYC – insightful as to what goes on behind the scenes and how the show actually takes shape.

liquidizer is listening to Depeche Mode, after reading a post about them on 43T
I’ve been to loads of TV show recordings in London. Some were really tedious but some were great, with lots of additional material filmed that was never broadcast. Today, I’m happiest watching the best bits of the filming on TV. But it’s nice to go along and see behind the scenes of the magic of telly once in a while. One tip: don’t go to daytime shows you’ve never heard of. They’re almost certainly rubbish.

I was on the Mark Walberg Show back in the 90’s. Tim and I had a bunch of talk shows lined up to go to that day and we ended up getting stuck in a bad ice storm. Mark Walberg was the first talk show we went to and we ended up staying there for the following taping because the show offered to feed the whole audience if we would stay..so we did..well one couple on the next taping of “nerds to knockouts” canceled because of the storm. They ended up pulling me and Tim from the audience and getting us to fill in..well I played the “nerdy” wife from Utah and Tim played the “hip” husband from NY..well at the time it was cool to be on T.V..but then the reality of my “acting” hit me..the showed aired and wouldn’t you know it..everyone in my home town of Utah saw me and thought it was real..I could of died!..It was so embarrassing..people were getting mad at Tim for calling me a nerd from Utah..I had to explain to everyone the real situation..I have a copy of the tape..I’ve tried to throw it out..but Tim likes to torment me and show everyone the tape when they visit! It’s sooooo embarrassing!
