Well I just found out the results of mums scan. And it seems the cancer is also in her liver and at the base of her spine too. So the option of radiotherapy seems less likely now.

She has another appointment in the new year, if she is still here, but that I guess is asking alot.

So for now its just important to speak to her everyday, to visit as often as i can and to make sure she has no doubts about how loved she is.

We are given so many gifts in our lives, but we find just as many ways to take them for granted. Today I am sitting back and really counting the blessings of my family and my wonderful mum.

On a dreary dark winters night, its good to give the body comfort. So tonight its sausages in red wine and onion marmalade gravy, with yorkshire puds, all washed down with a nice bottle of cider.

Simple but yummie.

Today I received a wonderful gift from my incredible friend HG :)

A copy of a wonderful book of poetry all the way from Nepal. This amazing collection of words has already made my body feel healthier, my heart lighter, and my soul stronger.

Body – I went for a half hour walk today
Soul – I did yoga on wiifit plus (28 mins)
Heart – got ready for babies first birthday tomorrow!

Axx wonders if........ but thinks probably not

A goal 1 month ago

that was suggested by a dear friend…. aiming for 6 months consistently. I have just clocked up 3 weeks which is rather surprising, and I am keeping track of what I count in each area. There are many days that I find myself clutching at straws but I am finding it easier to find things, no matter how small each day. I try to make some form of exercise my body entry, but on days such as Friday where I had no sleep at all the night before and constant migraines all afternoon I counted the fact that I allowed myself to sleep on and off through the afternoon.

Thank you so much for giving me this goal….. some days it may not appear so but it has made the world of difference over the last few weeks.
