I have a feeling that I have a million things to do. I just don’t know what they are.
My current subgoal though: Find the perfect backpack
How I did it: Got my books together, reviewed course outlines, bought lots of post-its and reorganized my filing cabinet! Yay! Oh, and bought a new computer.
Lessons & tips: Staying on top of this year round would probably make the last few weeks of summer vacation less stressful.
Resources: Staples. It's my one stop shop.

or at least try :-)
First day went pretty smoothly. I’ll have a lot of names to remember—the classes are huge. So is the school; I got lost at least two times. All of my classes have at least one of my friends in them. And apparently, I was the only one who was nervous about this whole high school thing.
Let’s see… I have drama, art, English and geography this term, and the funny thing is, all of these are my favourite subjects! (In the second term, I have math, gym, French, and science; most of which I dislike).
Hmmm… It really went well. By the end of the day, the huge school seemed much smaller to me. I was, however, very much indtimidated by the freedom here. People walking though the halls all day long, eating lunch outside, talking on cell phones, swearing. And the dress code has completely vanished. Everybody’s pants seem to have gotten a little lower, and their shirts a little higher. I wouldn’t dream of wearing some of the stuff they had on.
I could go on and describe the tables and the floors and the colour of the walls, but enough about that. Let’s get to my goal.
I need four binders and lots of loose-leaf paper. Locker decorations. And a watch. That’s it for this term. I’ll be crossing it off my list today or tomorrow.
I’ll also try to put up an account of my day on my blog, if I have time.
I sat down with my dad and practiced my math skills. Still need to brush up on history, though.
I also chose my school clothes (a green plaid shirt and white pants) and reread the 7 Habits. I also prayed a lot.
Tomorrow is the day before school. I still need to pack my backpack and start on locker decorations, but I’m pretty much set.
High school, here I come!
I started a WikiHow article here:

I need to do some stuff to shake off my fears, get me into school spirit, and refocus my priorities.
