Enjoy my daughters 13th birthday party

Yippeeeeeeeee!!!

They came!
They ate!
They drank!
They giggled!
They brought presents!
They played VERY loud music!
They caught the whole thing on video!

This was the first time I had met several of my daughters new friends she has made since starting High School and I’m so thankful she has made such great friends. They are a lively, fun, intelligent, bright and funny bunch and I already adore them all!

This was a fun day and yes, I did enjoy it :)

Ok…...party is in full swing! I’ve survived the first couple of hours but I’m hiding for five minutes and having a cuppa to ensure I will make it through the next two hours.

So far, all’s going well. Lotsa laughing, lotsa girlish squeals of delight and lotsa LOUD music.

I’m still smiling – so it must be all good! :)

Busy time for me.

Youngest daughter will turn 11 tomorrow and I am taking her and 3 of her friends out for lunch, to the movies and then maybe bowling or mini golf. Weather is meant to be warm and sunny and it should be a great day. I’m really looking forward to it!

On Monday, eldest daughter will turn 13!!. This one I have not been looking forward to. I’m sure most mum’s dread when their baby becomes a teenager. She is having a party with lots of friends and I have spent most of today getting prepared. Buying food, doing some cooking, organising games, rearranging outdoor furniture and just getting prepared in general. I just hope it is a sunny day so they can all be outside!!

My eldest daughter is turning 13 next week. She is having a party here at home with 12 other girls her age (13 teenage girls – I must be mad!!).

I just hope I live to tell the tale!
