... I baked a coconut bundt cake and a chocolate olive oil cake for a family gathering and realized how much I missed baking.
I miss making cream horns, cupcakes, cookies, cakes and tarts. Just need to figure out how I can bake more often without spending most of my Saturday doing so. I should adjust my schedule so that I have a few hours to bake on Fridays.

germander Got through my week of reduced mileage - still had good runs.
I made another batch of butternut squash mash last night, as well as some cranberry-oatmeal bars, and it was all delicious!
In addition to the squash, I made a batch with mostly carrots and some squash; I’ll be trying that tonight to see if I like it as well.
No pics this time, but trust me – YUMMY!

I love baking, but haven’t really made time for it in a long while. I’ve got some french bread in the oven right now! Just the smell makes me happy that I made this commitment! I’m shooting for at least one good day of baking a week. Hope my roommates are hungry!

i love baking!! it’s soo much fun. I found so many healthy recipes on internet and bake lots that lasts atleast for one week. i also put less sugar and oil/butter than recommended. Overall i am pleased!! This way i also don’t skip breakfast. I have tried making pancakes, banana cookies, chocolate cookies, carrot cake, banana and chocolate cakes. Each time they turn out to be delicious and filling! I plan on baking atleast every week (let’s see how that goes). Then there will always be something yummy & healthy to eat in the frigde. =) just yesterday i made the banana-walnut cake ..turned out to be awesome though it is a little dry. However, it tastes just fine when eating it with milk.

I made up the recipe – I made a white sauce with butter, cake flour, and rice milk, plus some spices and brie cheese, then I baked it with cooked macaroni shells. It was so good!
