get a pixie cut

It was an awesome feeling. have to admit it was scary at first after i got it cut. Then I grew to love it. But the struggle was growing it out, the awkward length of hair between your ears and chin. Now my hair’s past my shoulder and I’m thinking about cutting it super short again, it will be worth waiting for my hair to grow out again.

I uploaded a picture of myself and found an online program to try out hair styles. I printed out the ones I liked and took them to the hairdresser. It’s important to have a good hairdresser, one you know has cut your hair well in the past.

I have decided on a style! Now to have the cut as quickly as I can!

my long hair is driving me up a wall. at first i was hesitant about getting it chopped off but now i feel like i have to. its dead, its boring, its always in a bun or ponietail, why haven’t i considered this sooner? i have to wait for summer though. it seems like a good time to start over.

I just love the pixie haircut! i always hate long hair getting in my face and getting stuck in my neck… I love the short-medium cuts :)

i’ve always wanted to cut my hair short. there is an ascetic quality in going without the luxury of hair that I want to experience.

I just went to a hairdresser and asked for a pixie, but the lady didn’t even listen to what I want, so instead of Audrey Hepburn, I came out looking like my mom. :’( If it’s done right, a pixie is awesome, but it’s risky. I’m having someone else try to salvage my hair today…I hope it works!

My first pixie was longish for a pixie but I’ve gone shorter this month. :) I intend to dye it purple and will post with updated pics when I do.
