I never forget the moment there.
Since I came to U.S., I have visited Korea once, and it was last month that I visited there for 11 days. I had a great time having food tour with my old friends and staying with family. I felt like that I rode roller coaster during the time there because my family are loud and impatient people. And I had to go through all those dramas. when I was leaving the town to catch the flight back to U.S., I knew mom wanted to stay with me until the last minute before I left. I didn’t want to see her cry so I made up some joke and told her,
” Hey mom, send me more money”
And she yelled me back,
” Did you say you wanted more money?!”
And people started looking at me. I was embarrassed but I thought that was better than that I had to see her cry.
I hope she still enjoys the music that I had put into I-pod shuffle for her before i left.
Being a stranger in some sort of remote area is awesome, but I am glad I saw my family and friends. Next time, I will do more activities with them.
