Tango in Buenos Aires

First step is to learn the tango.

Buenos Aires is such an amazing city, and there’s tango everywhere, it’s fantastic! I love it :-)

I’m going to book a trip! Bit scared my tango won’t be up to it but it’ll be fun….

I don’t think I’m a good enough follower to go to Buenos Aires yet :D But if I keep with it… Good things will come.

I live in BA for 4 years when I was a kid. Now I want to go back with my family for a few weeks. While there we will visit Bariloche, Iguazu falls, La Boca for some incredible italian food, and of course we will all Learn to Tango! I’ve seen several tours that includes instruction twice a day for anywhere from 4 to 16 days. I’m leaning towards a week to 10 days.

This is pretty far off on my list of things to do, probably 5 to 6 years out.

I need to learn to dance the tango!

So, here is the order of things I need to do!

1. Get the shoes.

2. Get the dress.

3. Learn to dancein the shoes.

4. GO!

But think about how beautiful it is. Dancing a sensual dance with a stranger in a foreign country. You don’t even need to speak the same language that you think. You can speak the language of moving bodies, your breathe on their neck, the feeling of them against you, and a passion burning deep inside.
