but i hav a stuffed one a friend won for me at a fair :) its huge and takes up more of my bed than me but i love it. and its as close as im gonna get to having a snake of my own, at least for the next few years….

How I did it: I went to the pet store, actually it was a farmers market type place that sells feed. So basically.. it was a feed store.. Anyways.. They had a few of the in their own tanks in the back, he was the last one. Ive never felt the need to have a snake before, but the moment I saw him slither out of his little house, I fell in love with him. Ive had him for about 2 years now, and love it. Even feedings, I got my mom into it one time, and she was totally intreagued* and disgusted by the whole process. :) Lessons & tips: Learn about the type of snake you want. I have a ball python, and he is completely different from.. say.. a waterhose.. So youve got to do your research. Not for yourself, but for the animal too. |

convince my mother that it will not eat her. which is going to take some doing. i have taken her to meet these snakes i help look after, she has seen me walking round with them in my hair and top and not being eaten, but she is still not convinced! she has admitted they are ‘rather sweet’ tho and has even stroked one, which she refused to do to start with so i think i might be able to wear her down, with a lot of time and patience! then again, i might move out b4 then, and then i am deffo gonna get one!

I’ve done the research. I already have the perfect habitat. I just need the snake. This will have to wait until after I get my own place again. But Deff something I want to do. I would prefer a lavander corn snake. Just beautiful.

I’d really like a Royal Ball python. My other half is OK with it, so as soon as we’re moved out I’m going to save for one. I’ve always wanted a snake, I’m so happy about this!

hell yes!!! ,it was worth geting this snake i,even drew a self portrait with my snake around my neck,i think ever since i got this snake ,ive learned to trust,i trust this snake,i know that i have to be brave ,i feel stronger,happier,and i have the courage to do things i was never able to,the simplicity, the simple pleasures life has to offer,

I got my coastal carpet pythong hatchling today. He is so well tempered. I am really happy with him. He lying in my lap now. Defiantely recomend this breed!

Snakes are awesome, unofortunately when I bought a snake, I bought a very moody, and wild snake. My suggestion, do not buy an albino california king snake. Everyone has a ball-python and everyone wants to be different, thats why I didn’t get one, but those are the best snakes. I’ve known a lot of people who have them, and since I was little we’ve always gotten along. I don’t know what I was thinking!
