make more friends all around the world...

I’ve decided that for now, instead of concentrating on making friends in far-off places, I should focus on strengthening the relationships I have with people around my area. If I make friends around the world, so be it, but it isn’t a necessity!

I really only have very few foreign friends who I have a good relationship with. Maybe 4 or 5? And it’s not like we speak all the time. I’d like to have more people to speak to, on a more regular basis.

I just started talking to a guy in Missouri… he’s cool. And a Manics fan, to boot. Hooray!

It seems loadsa people can go out, meet people, have fun. But I… don’t have much of a social network, and I dunno how to meet people.
I was thinking of joining an online forum-thingy, but in the past when I’ve joined them, I seem to get ignored and stuff. There has to be a reason for this.

i have friends north and south america,japan, and albania so far.Im learning spanish french and japanees so i can make more friends!!!

That I dislike about having friends in far-off lands is the stupid time difference that causes either one of us to be online until ridiculous hours.

Because we talk every so often, it’s awesome fun, then we don’t talk for weeks. Or email. So I think that they won’t speak to me again. Then we talk again and the cycle begins again.

That before I can be accepted by people around the world, I need to find people who I trust enough to accept me in ‘real life.’
