Jungle trek

I put this on my list some time ago and seemingly I didn’t do anything about it but now I am booked to go on an expedition to South America in a few months time.

People around me say i am “lucky” but really i had to make this happen,i had to choose to do it and taken the action to make it happen.

I trekked through Monte Verde cloud forest a few years ago… It was AMAZING! Being in the forest while the nocturnal animals are just turning in and the rest of the forest is waking up is pretty damn cool. I spent 2 months in Costa Rica, and suggest just visiting if you get the chance… Try to make it to Arenal volcanic park. The volcano erupts every 45 minutes, and you can just about set your watch by it… Costa Rica gives new meaning to “fresh passion fruit!”
