go curling

Is (or maybe was) apparently a Champion curling player in Canada
Have only met her twice, but want ot go curling with her!

I’ve only curled two times in the last six years, but from grades 3 to 6 I curled every week in the winter as an extra-curricular school activity and got really good at it. It is a fun sport and gives you lots of exercise if you’re the vice, 3rd, or 4th (not so much the skip as I was in grade 6 because you’re at the far end and not sweeping like the others).

I went curling with two other people in Nashville for an open house and it was amazing. A Canadian in an awesome Cosby sweater showed us the way. I think the best part was when my friend ripped her pants when she fell. Just make sure you wear stretchy pants and know how to fall correctly (if thats even possible).

I was slippin and slidin all over that ice (and the next day one of my legs was sorer than the other), but man – was it fun!

I was in a club in college and we went up to visit another club at in Vancouver, BC. As part of the trip, their club took us all curling.

It was a total blast. I’m hoping to make a birthday trip of it this year to a curling place to take other friends since it was such a fun experience.
