How I did it: Starting as soon as classes ended and dead week began, I started reading for my hardest, and last, final. I kept up the reading until the day before, stopping to study for other finals for the entire day before them. Then, on the last day before my final, I reviewed homeworks, and went back and re-read everything that I highlighted in my textbook. Read how I did it…

I am not in school anymore… so this one does not apply. Eventually I will go back, so we’ll keep it around to work towards!
SimplyAmazing trying to simply be me
Okay the begining of this semester is over and we are now in midterm. I really have to step my game up. I have been really lacking behind and not putting any affort into my classwork. I am now going to start focusing more and try hard to do my best. I really do not want to withdraw from a class or more so fail! I really want to past my classes with atleast a B and my mian goal is to get A’s if not all A’s then atleast one A.

I don’t know if im going to get in a in my history class. I do not like my professor. He’s too boring and very uptight. ughhhh im annoyed but im try to stay positive. :-)))

Well, this goal was actually intended for my last semester and I’ve only gotten A’s and B’s so this goal did not get accomplish. I am now starting a new semester and this goal is up and runing once more. I am plan on getting all A’s this semester. Wish me luck!
this was the best feeling ever!! i am so happy to have a 4.0 for the first time ever!
grades have been posted for all my classes except spanish. the prof in that class is ridiculously unorganized, so I doubt she’ll have them up until the absolute last minute (midnight tonight). suspense is going to kill me.
Well it looks like I might just do it… at least for all classes that I get a grade for. I’m taking my economics class as pass/fail since I bombed the first midterm, but even in that one I have a possibility of getting an A. Granted, that would mean getting a mid to high A on my final (extremely unlikely).
My math grade is pretty much set, I only need something close to a 76 to keep my A in that class, and all of the problems on the final are straight from the homework.
I need a 77 on my computer science final to keep my A… if only I had remembered to turn in my last programming assignment I would only need a 70. Oh well, it should still be pretty easy to do.
I need an 83 to keep my A in Spanish, and since I got somewhere close to a 200% on the listening part of the final (it’s structured strangely, with all levels of Spanish having the same test and then it being curved according to your level), I have room for some error on the written portion. I just need to sit down and do some minor review (with the exception of economics, which I am way behind in) and focus for the next week to get it done.
but so far I’m making it. very surprised at the grades I’ve received on my psych exams. surprised in a good way. there are a few ridiculously complicated projects due in a week or so, so we’ll see how that goes.
Old habits die hard, or something like that. I have not put aside any time this semester for studying. That is pathetic because I have no job, thus I have more time. Maybe I need a job so a fuller schedule will help me manage my time for effectively.
