How I did it: I've always wanted to visit France. I've had this romantic vision in my head of France, the people, the music, the food, the culture, the whole french lifestyle. I'll see a croissant, and Edith Piaf will be singing about how sad life can be in my head, and I'll see balloons soaring, and suddenly envision a miss Dior add.I won a writing competition, as I've already written about in a fulfilled goal. We (me and my guardian, my mother) were … Read how I did it…

How I did it: I studied some French on my own and then took an Immersion course through Berlitz. It was a 3-legged trip. First was Paris. I figured out all the places I wanted to visit there by looking through travel brochures. Next was a walking tour in Provence through Classic Journeys. They were incredible! Saw and Experienced much more than I could have on my own. Wonderful because I didn't have to Think, as the guide did everything. Finally, … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I studied abroad through my university in summer 2007 and went back in summer 2008 on a fellowship to conduct independent research for my thesis. The two experiences were VERY different. My study abroad experience was with 25 other undergraduates, while my experience as a researcher was alone. Going alone in 2008, I was very glad that I had been before and that I knew the language. It made things much easier. Also… Read how I did it…

I was lucky enough to travel to Italy a couple of years ago, and it made me want to be able to travel the world some more. I grew up learning spanish but i think it would a great experience to go to france.
I only went over for 10 days, and I wish I could of stayed longer! Purely by chance, my high school was offering a trip to France which made it more affordable to go. There’s so much to see there, I recommend making the trip much longer than mine if possible. It all felt very rushed and there was much I wanted to see and didn’t get too.
I’ve wanted to go to France since i was in 7th grade, but I’ve always passed up the opportunity for something “more” important. I’m going!
I took French lessons for 7 years and feel like I’m doing myself a huge disservice by not following through with this goal of making that happen. I would love to make it there next year!
The more I hear about France, the more I am impressed. Free health care, amazing job benefits, beautiful cities, etc. Seemingly stress free living, so I want to travel there and see for myself. Possibly move there later in life, after debt has been cleared.
Paris is amazing! Its better than the postcards..lol :)
I was on top of the eiffel tower, on Valentines Day and it started snowing..ahhhh so romantic ;)
Its a must see city and country…
Is worth seeing with your own eyes. Go up to the coast to Saint Malo, it’s beautiful.
I have always wanted to travel to France. Maybe a few of the common areas such as Paris and maybe Versailles but i want more of a small town French provincial experience, small town good people, beautiful towns. Someplace like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ain
My biggest problem is that i dream big, but I lack the initiative sometimes.
