perform

I want to perform with a dance company, musical theater group or something similar.

I always wanted to excel in some kind of sport or performance and be able to perform in front of my friends, family and strangers! I’ve been going to ice skating practice. It is not easy to become a pro but trying so hard.. falling and getting up again. After all, nothing comes easy.

I have been into acting for a while, but on the side of other things, mainly studying.
When I think about what I really want to do, it all comes back to performing. It may be difficult to believe, but im funny! I love comedy. Yet another thing to take more seriously when I get back to london! Comedy classes!

I want to perform. The stage is my home, weather it be for band, choir, or theatre I love the stage.

I played one of the lead roles in a play called a year and a day. We did it at school but we had to audition and not everyone got through. We were participating in part of a theatre connections group and we were up against abiout 200 other schools. We were one of the 14 schools that were chosen to perform at the nuffield theatre in southampton. I’ll never forget that day. So worth doing.

I am so ready to dance fabulously. I want to see what I could do. really do. sooooooo tired of holding back and doubting. A dream that’s gone on so long has got to be real.

I want to sing so bad I could crap my pants right now.

Idle Nights is the first of the spoken word events in Kuching. It was organised mainly because we had a guest performer Francesca Beard, flown in by the British Council, and they wanted local acts to perform alongside.

In total, we had three poets, two writers/storytellers and one who is somewhere inbetween. That would be me.

It was a first for most of us, but we had a blast and we’re definately doing it again.
