become a much, much better digital photographer

I’ve taken some great ones over the past few years on my travels following BRMC. Here’s a nice one of the Duke Spirit at the Metro in Chicago.

i think i’m quite good… but there are just so many buttons and options on my camera, and it’s hard to find the time to work out what they all do!!!

In combination to traveling around the world, I’d like to become a very good digital photographer and write travel journals and stories about the experiences while on the road. I’d like to concentrate on sharing my stories that other ‘over 40’ folks who want to get off the career track and peer into their ‘other’ true selves, and to inspire others to do the same.

Get a good camera, like the Fuji FInepix S9600

In the past year, my photography skills have improved. I have gotten into the habit of observing, looking, and taking the camera wherever I go.

I’m still a work in progress, but am quite happy with the photos I am taking now.

This is a work in progress. I have gotten better, but there are still things that I can improve.

Lately, I’ve been uninspired. I’m occupying myself with other things, like tv and reading and what not, rather than take pictures.

Don’t quite know where the drive went, but I don’t wanna be forcing myself cause I think the mood translates into the photos I take. Which is not a good thing!

I’m still figuring if this is a phrase, or has my interest waned, I guess.
