On a quick note, it turned out to be one of the most memorable birthdays ever. And I didn’t cry this year, not even one tiny tear! So that has got to be a good thing! :D

Nina is a contradiction when it comes to her birthday. She says she thinks people like me are cool who try to treat it like any other day. On the other hand she looks forward to the fuss her friends make about her birthday. You can’t really have it both ways, but if anyone could I’m sure it would be Nina. She’s inspiring to me in so many ways as she lives her life to the best of her ability, acknowleding both the pitfalls and the pleasures. So today on her birthday I wish her much love and respect, and of course the following things for the coming year:

May her creative muses inspire to write regularly, just something, anything, though of course that first novel would be wonderful as well. May she make the time to do the things around the house that she wants to accomplish, like sewing new curtains and decorating Ammar’s room. And may she find the patience she needs to be able to wait and see if he is the one.
