Bookish was one of the people I connected with early in my time on 43Things. I was so excited when I heard that she was going to be attending the NYC 43Things meet that Segsy was organizing, so I made up my mind to attend so I could finally meet her. By the time she arrived, we were half a table apart so we were able to wave at each other but barely had an opportunity to talk (though I loved getting to know MaryHawkins and JudithKD and TLong and Segsy who were near me). She had to leave early to go to work, so I didn’t get a chance to reposition near her either. I’m hoping that I’ll have another opportunity to get to know her better in person someday. Maybe I should just schedule my own 43Things NYC Meet so I can do just that. Here are my wishes for you, my Bookish friend, for the coming year:
May you focus on your health on a daily basis, including flossing, and taking time to walk as well as climb the stairs which will help strength your lungs. May you do first things first, but more importantly do them earlier so that you get to work on time every day. And may you find a home for the books you no longer need and know deserve a better place (possibly through Bookcrossing).
