And Alex is almost potty trained enough for it. Three is kinda young though, in terms of them actually being able to remember it.

Rose is seven, Alex is almost three. They’re old enough to go. We need to take them, as a family.
I plan to do this for daughter’s b-day midsummer.I calculated how much I’d need and I’ll be halfway there before the end of next month. We’re gonna have a blast!
newsurfiegirl is loving hearing baby giggles at the moment!!!!

ILoveAhmed needs a little motivation...
It’s way better than when I was a kid. I want to go back soon inshallah! My kids were 5,7,9 and 14 when we went and they all had a great time. Soaring Over California was our favorite. Space mountain was OK. The parades were cool and the shows.
IT SEEMS ABSURD TO ME THAT MY KIDS ARE IN THEIR TEENS AND I’VE NEVER TAKEN THEM TO DISNEYLAND. EVERY KID DESERVES TO SEE DISNEYLAND.
We had a great vacation. The parks were busier than we expected, but we just went at the kids’ pace and had a great time!
Yeah, we finalized our plans and we’re headed to California next week.
We’re looking into taking the kids over Spring Break, but only if we can afford it…
I grew up going to Disneyland and up until I was 19 I went every year sometimes 4 times a year depending. My husband and I took our first two children when they were 4 and 3. They don’t remember it. Now our littler two are 6 and 7 and the older two are 14 and 13 so I’m thinking next year would be a good goal to set to get them out to Cali to see some of the fun stuff. I have to say I miss Disneyland so much. I spent so much of my free time there growing up that I used to know all the shortcuts between lands and the little alleyways that connected one area to another. I even knew the best spots to hang out to meet with the Characters for Photo Ops. Now of course they’ve added things and moved some things etc. so I’m sure a lot of my knowledge is horribly outdated. But I so want the kids to have that magic that I got as a child. Of course nowadays you can’t let ‘em loose in the park like we used to get to do. My Grandfather would look at his watch and say “It is now 9:00 everyone has to meet up in front of the Matterhorn at 1:00 and we’ll go get lunch.” Then we’d cut away from the adults and not come back until lunch time. Same thing after Lunch until dinner and then off until Tinkerbell set off the fireworks at close time. God it was Incredible.
