My tummy is tighter at least, — 2 weeks ago
I’m naturally thin and tiny, so I’ve always had a ‘flat’ tummy, it was just sorta soft and loose, I’ve been doing pilates and yoga twice a week for a month now and my tummy already feels little tighter :)

And that’s when I’ll have a hot body! I use to have close to a 4 pack… now I have more of a six pack of beer belly goin’ on and it ain’t cute!
If anyone has any tips that will accelerate shaving down some fat, it would be much appreciated!

i just did 60.
i’m going to do another 140 when the pain stops :)
yay me.
I did pilates last thursday… it hurt so much after, it was great :P I think pilates will be a great addition to my cardio (rowing and a bit of walking when I’m tired but still want to do something) then maybe I’ll have abs :P but I’ll at least get somewhat strengthened tummy muscles and better posture out of it.
Apparently we all have abs but it is the adipose layer of fat prevents it from showing, so its a two prong approach.
(long term)Good diet + (long term)exercise = abs.
It isn’t a petty goal of being able to show off the results on the beach (but wouldn’t it nice :P) but my family has a history of cardiovascular disease so being a young lad of 25, I probably think it would be in the interest of my long term health to adopt a health plan to suit my procrastinative/loose diet & exercise.
So the next step :
weekly plan for cardio & weights + general dietary guideline for foods
I sometimes wish the flabby flab would settle on my fingers and toes instead? sigh. I’m on it, got myself an ab roller, let’s see how it goes coz I’m super syked up for this. Nothing as fun as playing rugby with a strong core muscles.
Tonight I started and ‘finished’ one Pilates lesson. Pilates works wonders for the tummy! Back in January I took 5 lessons within 10 days and lost some inches…in fact, I was able to wear my 70’s dress very comfortably even more so than at Halloween 2007. Jennifer Kriess is one of my favorite Pilate instructors. Living in Houston, it is hard to find an inexpensive class. I finally found one in west Houston that offers group class of five students – 12 lessons for $280.00. Not a bad price compared to other Pilate classes that cost $60 to $80 per lesson. One piece of advice….no pasta for dinner!
OK – so I am strictly following the Zone meal plan (15 blocks, 165# athletic male), I have noticed significant decrease in stomach fat over the last two weeks. My guess is that I will need to get around 7% bodyfat to have visibility of all six abs. Need to exercise these muscles more regularly so they grow and become more noticeable though
I have muscles (like the rest of the universe) underneath my stomach fat. Now, i need to figure out how to get rid of that without losing my hourglass. I don’t want to look like soccer chicks, with straight down torsos. I have curves, and i want to keep them. More research then.
