He seemed a bit…intellectual, quiet, sensitive, strange, at first.
But he played the piano amazingly well. He was handsome. He was active in the church and held a temple recommend.
He was interested in all the things I was…genealogy, home food production and storage, children…I’m not sure what else.
He had a good job, a PhD, a Dutch accent and he fell head over heels in love with me.
He looked at me with goo-goo eyes. How could he be in love with me? I wondered.
But by the next day, I was in love with him, too. We were married 5 weeks later in the Washington temple for time and all eternity.
I’ve been blissfully happy with him for 19 years. He’s a dream come true. He has no faults…except maybe…naw, not really.
His greatest desire is to be married to me for eternity…millions and billions of years. He’s nuts! But it sure sounds good to me. He puts up with all sorts of stuff from me.
