learn more guitar

Learning more guitar will always be a goal of mine… I will never be good enough for myself. I have decided to give myself Some credit at least… I do play the chords that I know Really Well after all.. and there’s a lot of people out there who wish that they could play at all, let alone write their own songs!

I’ve become more optimistic about this… but yes I would still like to learn more!

I have been playing guitar since I was FOURTEEN! Now I’m 21.. and it seems I don’t have a whole lot to show for years of playing. I took a couple classes.. but all I can do are basic chords (C, G, D, E, A, and their minors) All these years I’ve just been writing my own stuff and messing around. I want to learn more about reading music, and learn some other peoples songs too.

Everybody’s starting nightmare, and I’ve been trying for … years! I have really been stuck in the blues pentatonic for WAaaaY to long, and I am really overusing the triplet run I found for Whitesnake’s ‘Here I Go Again’

A band is awesome but you realize your short comings real quick!
