I found a studio in town that’s relatively cheap, as far as yoga studios go. They also have a student discount, so I think I might give it a try for the summer.

How I did it: I got a Wii and Wii Fit for my birthday and I have been sporadically using them. I know that I need to start getting more an exercise schedule going so that I can really lose the weight I want to lose but I'm lazy. The Wii Fit does give me attitiude when I don't come on for a few days though, it's funny. Read how I did it…
How I did it: The place where I take my belly dance class offers other classes, too, like yoga. I decided that nothing was going to happen unless I made it happen, so about 3 months ago, I signed up. I'm signed up for the next session, too, and can see continuing with it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm self-concious, have a sporadic schedule, and am broke... so I can't afford to go up to a gym for classes. But I have invested in a new exercise tool called Wii Fit and I hate to be "that person" but hey... I love it. I'm motivated to work out, and I can spend as much or as little time as I need on my exercising as my schedule permits. Read how I did it…

How I did it: A friend invited me to join her yoga class for a day, and it was free for me since I was a newcomer. Met her there, stretched and prepared then followed the teacher's instruction. Did some cool-down stretches -- and it was truly an hour well-spent. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I joined a local gym, which happened to offer yoga classes a few times a week. I convinced my boyfriend to join me the first time, and he's been coming with me once a week ever since. Read how I did it…

And these ones are free! It’s at a wonderful art gallery where the artists and gallery do an exchange of services as a community development initiative. FAB!

It’s a pay what you can class…. I’m nervous to go though! I don’t know anything about yoga. I think I’ll ask my friend Bec to go too. She’s a yogi master nearly.
I took my first class on March 11th. I’m supposed to go every week, but Wed morning is the only time I have a sitter and I also have to take care of other apointments (dentist, doc, etc) on those days, too.
I LOVED the class – only 5 students total and the instructor was awesome. I couldn’t do some of the moves, but I was familiar with them because I’ve done yoga videos before. The live class is much more intense and I was actually a little sore the next day – the good kind of burn. I never got that with the videos. I’m hoping to go back this week and continue going, even if it’s only once or twice a month. Every little bit helps and it’s SO relaxing!

Last Wednesday I went the second time to the Yoga class and I loved it. The teacher is wonderful, very sympathic. I felt so relaxed after the exercises. It is so comfortable to do something without the pressure to perform. To think only about the exercise and my breath gives me such a relieved feeling =) great! During the next two days my muscels hurt a little but I liked it too.

I don’t really want to do yoga. I want to stretch…and strengthen. I want to help my aging body. Unfortunately…yoga seems to be the only way.
nufan is postponing alot of things :(
Going to my 1st class tonight :D It’s actually my lovely mentor from Samaritans that runs the class (and half the proceeds go to our branch:)) Ahhh everything in the universe is all connected! Achieving one goal made achieving the next one easier! * spaces out a bit *

I found a flyer months ago where a yoga shop introduced itself. I wanted to go to a yoga class for years but I didn’t get the money and the right teacher. So I yesterday I gave it a try and went to a class. And it was incredible! The teacher was very sympathic, I liked her from the moment she opened the door. And the time was running so fast and I felt so relaxed after it. I’m so happy about it – I found the right place. So next wednesday I’ll go there again. Yeah :)

I am going to my first yoga class this weekend. I want to improve breathing techniques and better my posture. Hopefully this helps.
