I’ve looked up directions because I wanted to go last weekend, it was SO nice out! But lpans fell through. le sigh but, at least i am one step closer!!!!

How I did it: Every Memorial Day weekend, my family and I go to the New Brighton State Beach in Santa Cruz. I love going to the beach. It's such an amazing place, and it's always a ton of fun. Lessons & tips: Bring plenty of towels, extra clothes and food!

Today was perfect, blue skies overhead, upper seventies, beach uncrowded, sunny, er… plenty of sunscreen… NO, as I leave I realize I brought skin moisturizer, not sunscreen. I’ll be feeling the results of this day for a while :0

I went once when I was five. We took a family vacation to Florida, but I really do not remember much about it. I went to Florida this summer, but we did not end up going anywhere near a beach. Since I was on a group trip, we didn’t get to go off in groups to a beach. I was to go to another beach just one more time so I can appreciate the beauty of it.

This time I went to Constitution Beach, in East Boston, with a bunch of people I know. The weather was nice enough, but there were no waves and I got blisters on my feet from walking without sneakers to the restroom :{ However I’m not through for the summer. I intend to go back, this month, to old reliable, Singing Beach.
