Just recently, we traveled to Oregon for vacation. We drove all the way there from Ohio. It was am amazing experience, not to mention relaxing. The most relaxing was watching the sun set over the ocean from our hotel balcony. To anybody saying they “just don’t have the money” both of us that went are broke college students. With planning and common sense, anybody can have a relaxing beach vacation.

sierra_dreamr is spending more meaningful time with friends and doggies
yeah, it’s that hard, but it’s great every time.
Try to do this 2 x a week not just once a week, this does require being home

And so worth it!
Seagulls, sail boats, dolphins, crashing waves, rolling waves, breaking waves, silent waves, waves that take 2 feet of sand away, waves that bring the sand back, waves that crest over the top of the dune you are standing on
Waves that bring the surfers in, waves that roll them under, waves that spike as they pass the prior wave reflecting off the beach, foamy waves, crystal clear waves, waves reflecting the moonlight

Jim and I went with another couple to a really cool little beachside restaurant in the vicinity of Half Moon Bay. We sat in Adirondack chairs, snuggled up under wool blankets (provided by the restaurant), drank a bottle of wine and watched the sunset. Sweet memory.
