get a pedicure once a month

I got a French pedicure for August, and plan to get another one this month (especially since I have a shoot coming up). So I am going to consider this goal complete!

I went with a French pedicure. Those seem to be my favorite! I am definitely going to need to get another one + a manicure in August before my big photo shoot! I think a French mani/pedi will be the best since it’s natural but versatile as well.

I just had my first Pedicure today and I love it! Up until now I have had the mentality of my feet are gross and my awesome hubby has done the whole pedicure thing for me but after this winter, I could not get the dry skin to go away so I figured – Just do it! I am sooo the type of person who cleans up before the maid comes (if I could afford a maid ;) ). Now I just have to find the $30/mo and the hour/mo and I’ll be golden!

I got a pedicure for the month of June and it was SO well worth it! I went with a natural, beige color this time. The foot massage was my favorite part though :)

Totally getting a pedicure (and a manicure too I think!); I’m thinking a French one will be nice :D So that will count for May, LOL! It’s a start :)

While I’m not a huge fan of manicures, I LOVE pedicures! Due to time constraints, I typically am not able to get them as much as I’d like, but I try! There is something about nice, cleaned up toenails that just puts the finishing touch on a woman’s appearance. Unfortunately, because I’ve been surfing so much, my toes and feet have gotten a little banged up from the rocks and low-tide, but I am still going to try to get pedicures more often!

... now that I’ve had it done, I actually care enough to maintain it myself. I still can hardly wait for my next professional one, but I’ve been doing a fair job on my own too. I love pretty toes!

• price 3/5—$50 for an hour
• atmosphere 4/5—soothing music, nice low light/candlelight, but too dark to read
• service 3.5/5—nice massage, overly gentle with the exfoliation, poor polish application, not offered beverage

• overall 3.5/5

I decided today that I will choose a different spa each month, and rate them. Fun!

I’m getting my first pedicure in almost a year (yuck!) next Tuesday. Yay!!
