So I have been facinated my whole life with languages. It seems to be a force I cannot deny… Well a few weeks ago I had a friend start talking to me in Russian. I fell in love with it! So I decided to start learning on my own (very difficult) the Only word I seem to understand after spending hours reading about, listening and trying to speak is butterfly. I guess you can say i am in over my head, but the resorces I have are limited… One person who would be willing to help, but is otherwise wrapped up in his own life. I should just focus on one language at a time.
I can’t possibly manage to keep things straight in my mind when i am also dabbleing in learning Irish Gaelic, Portugese (I actually know the basics to get around town and curse words with that one), trying to continue painting and wrtieing as much as i can… I wonder if that’s why I’m not retaining any of the information on the Russian language. I’m spreading myself to thin intellectually. Well at least it’s a thought.
