I had a couple visit who we had met online. They were nice, mannerly, and thankful. It’s nice to connect a face to a name.
How to meet my friends on the internet in real life
It made me
satisfied and happy 
"Awesome experience! You really have to 'gather the courage' and try it if you want to be overwhelmed by positive energy!"
How I did it: I had to go to the place where my by then "virtual" friends lived, so I wasn't shy or nervous to ask my 2 friends that lived there to meet up at the city square.
I was really overwhelmed by them and were really great people from whom I deeply believe I made lifelong friends.
Definitively want to meet again!
Lessons & tips: Just don't be nervous or shy to ask your friends to meet, something might really be wrong with you if you're shy to ask an online friend with whom you know a serious ammount of time and spent lots of time chatting and sharing experiences with.

One person I regret meeting but all the others were as nice in real life as they were online.
Still in touch with many (shared interests) and see some from time to time.
