I am having a lot of good runs lately, but honestly I just do not have the time to do 5 miles over my 60 minute lunch break. Takes me about 10 minutes to get to the gym and change and 10 to shower and change after my run…so that leaves me 40 minutes. I usually stretch for 5-10 minutes after my run…so that gives me 30 minutes…in 30 minutes I can get in just under 4 miles…..maybe I need to start running over the weekend again. 11 months ago
If you had asked me 5 years ago to run 5 miles I would have punched you in the throat. Since I turned 30 I have realized that I need to take better care of myself. I can run 2 and even 3 miles without stopping without too much issue…but mentally I am not strong enough to do 5…I hope to end that. My will power has been much too low the past few years and the next 30 days I plan on fixing that because I deserve it. 12 months ago
