I started my blog in January this year. Over the past few months I’ve posted on it, maybe, 3 or 4 times. Random stuff, no real information, just thoughts. I am still unsure whether to censor myself and share with people who know me, or say anything and hope that I stay anonymous!

How I did it: I started blogging back in 2002 when I got into reading other people's blogs. Somewhere along the line it seemed like a good idea to start my own. AT first my posts were sporadic, and aimed mainly at my friends who would read, but later on I started using as a diary of sorts, not caring about my readers so much as using it to get things off my chest. I started out without a blogging client, editing HTML directly, then moved to Blogger whe… Read how I did it…

CelestiHel is gearing up for NaNo!
I started a blog as part of a professional program to learn 2.0 technologies and now I want it to stay! But I am not traditionally a professional writer, I am a personal essayist, so now I’m not sure what to write about for the blog. Everything? My partners mother reads that blog! I guess it’ll take some experimenting!

Now that I have a laptop it’s easy. I made a record number of entries in December … twelve I think. Complet’d!
I have kept a blog for almost three years not. So worth it. I think it makes you focus on the good in your life, about what growth you have, what you have acomplished. Recommend it… its a neat way to meet some fantastic people too!
I get a blog, I write in it for three or four days and then I forget about it, thinking I’m too busy to update. I’m going to write at least three paragraphs a day. Now it starts…I am going to keep up my blog on Vox as PaintedRecord.
Here it goes…
I’ve been doing good for the last couple days, but I always start out really strong and then get bored with it. Although, technically even righting this post is helping get to my goal :)
So I started a blog last summer but never got in a routine about it. Ironically, the first thing I’ve posted about since December is joining 43 Things! :)
How are people going about making this a part of your routine? Are you doing it a particular time of day? being more focused about topics?

Today I added a post to my blog. You can see it here: www.sonyaswalking.blogspot.com I had forgotten how much I truly enjoyed writing this blog. I was making at least monthly updates for a while last year. The biggest gap came at the end of the year, and given the way I was feeling I’m not surprised. Today I felt like I had broken through those feelings, like surfacing from underwater. It is a great feeling and I hope it grows.
I don’t really have enough to talk about. I think I need to find a discussion niche that I want to write about. I’m dropping this goal for now. I may end up making progress as I work other goals and post my progress on them, but for now taking it easy.
