WaynesworldSo happy for flutter!

I’m so happy to hear that flutter’s eyes are healing after her surgeries. Modern medicine is miraculous and it is so thrilling that it has helped such a nice person like flutter! 3 years ago

flutter is full of wonderWent to the Doc Yesterday for final check up

The report I got was much better the I expected!
Both eye are 20/20 and my left eye… the one I was having the most trouble with after the surgery and the one we thought was not going to heal correctly, is the better of the two
I have been released to go back to work as of the 15th
God is soo good!
thank you everyone for all of yuou thought, prayers, encouragement and support.. you really don’t know what it meant to me :0)

I think we can all mark this goal as complete 3 years ago

New IsabellaGlad you are able to flutter around again, dear flutter!

After reading Todd’s last entry under this goal, and seeing that you were able to accomplish this other goal last week, I’m praying that it means that your healing is coming along well, and your eyesight is being restored, and I’m hoping it’s ok to mark this goal as “DONE.” I also hope that we’ll see you posting here from time to time to let us know how you are doing. Take good care of yourself, please, my friend. 3 years ago

Todd SchoonoverWonderful News

Flutter has had both her surgeries and is doing so much better. She and I had talked ahead of time about what she expected, and from the sounds of things everything is turning out even better than what could’ve been imagined. She’s shown herself to be full of faith, and it’s evident that faith has been rewarded. Congratulations Flutter, and I look forward to you being able to be back on here regularly. 3 years ago

Celtic ChristianAn update from Flutter

I talked with Flutter briefly last night. She told me to tell everybody that she is doing fine but to continue to pray for her during the recovery period from the surgery which I’m under the impression is going to be a bit harder for her second eye than it was on the first. 3 years ago

bpNews?

Is there any word yet on how Flutter is doing? I checked FB but did not see anything.
Sending healing thoughts!!

I found out recently that lilies of the valley were on a list of healing flowers, and I thought I’d send you a flowerpot full of them today along with prayers for healing and happiness in the new year. 3 years ago

Celtic Christiangood news

I talked with Flutter earlier today and her surgury went very well, in fact she IMed me over the computer instead of calling so here is her update in her own words: “yeah, my surgery went wonderfully. My bad eye is now my good eye.I am still in some pain and it is not staying in focus of long periods of time.. I need to keep it rested but there are times when I can see out of it better then I have ever seen .
By tomorrow it should be more ore less healed” 3 years ago

Celtic ChristianPLEASE PRAY TODAY

Just a friendly reminder to everybody that Flutters first surgery on her eye is today, so please keep her in your prayers throughout the day. I’ll post updates on how it went when I hear about it.

Also the surgery on her second eye has been scheduled for the January 14th, 2010. 3 years ago

flutter is full of wonderthanks for the prayers everyone!!

and thank you CC for starting this goal

I haven’t been around much lately, due to the fact that it is hard for me to read much of what is on here and it is also hard for me to type as it’s hard for me to see the keyboard. I never have been able to type without looking at the key to see the letters, and now I CAN’T see the letters very well on the keys :P
I thought I should give you an update thought and fill in a few blanks…
I have been slowly losing my eyesight for the past 2 years. However, even though I knew I was having trouble seeing, I didn’t realize there was a problem. I thought I just needed new glasses sooner then I should have and that that must just be a part of getting older, even though I’m not THAT old. When I went in to get my eyes checked and a new pair of glasses, the eye doctor told me I had cracks and ridges growing between the lenses and cornea of my eyes (of something like that… I don’t understand it completely)
it can be corrected with surgery (most of the time) If the surgery works I will have all or most of my vision back… if not, I will be blind in that eye. For that reason, they only do one eye at a time, so the chances are good that I wont be blind in both eyes.

my surgery on my right eye, which is the worst, will be on the 21 of Dec as CC said. The left eye hasn’t been scheduled yet, but I’m told it will be 2 weeks after the first, if there are no complications.

I will be going in to the doctor Wed. for more test. I think it just to double check everything they already know and make sure they have the right … whatever, for the surgery… take measurement of my eye and all that.

anyway… that all I know for now… I sure do appreciate all the thought, encouragement and prayer from everyone… it really does mean more then you realize 3 years ago

Celtic Christianthe situation

First off in response to an email from Todd I should clarify and say that it is this Flutter as in “FlutterByYou” and not “FlutterByFlyBy3”. As Flutter mentioned in some of her past posts here, she has been losing her eye sight and is awaiting corrective laser eye surgery to restore her failing vision. Until then she is having a hard time using the computer due to the increased eye strain and resulting headaches that result from it. I talked with her over the phone last night and will continue to do so and her request will keep everybody else on 43T up to date on what is going on at her end. 3 years ago
