How to go to brazil
It made me
grow.
 "Amazing. Simply amazing."
How I did it: I was 17 and wanted to go on a vacation I'd never forget. So I bought the tickets and went to Brazil for almost a month. Without a hotel, without knowing anyone. I just met people there, stayed at their places, took part in their family lives. It was just amazing. I was invited to family dinners, even a baptism. The peope were so friendly and so nice showing me, a total stranger, their contry, their habits and their daily life. I am very honored and glad I have had the chance to meet those incredibly people and, even if only for a very short time, be a part of their lives and make them a part of mine. The country is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Go there. Now! Lessons & tips: Don't be scared. Make all the experiences you can. It is so much worth it. |

How I did it: I went on a mission trip with the school i was going to, so it wasnt a vacation, but it was WAY more awesome than just a vacation. I got to meet the local people, they surrounded us asking for autographs, giving us presents, proposing to us, bringing us food, and singing to us. My whole life I have wanted to go to the Amazon and experience the beauty of the rainforest. Next semester I am taking Portuguese 101 and plan on visiting Brazil before I graduate in 2011.

I went to Brazil two years ago, and it was very worth it.
I never left the state of Sao Paulo, and I managed to see a ton of stuff, from a friend’s hometown to Sao Paulo city to the beaches of Guaruja.
I want to go back and see even more in the rest of the country.

I am traveling through brazil in May/June…By bus most likely(or what I can afford..one flight would be wonderful). I am coming from Buenos Aires, heading to Sao Paolo,Rio,Salvador, then Morros de Sao Paolo…any recommendations for accomidations and travel…websites and contact would be wonderful..I am traveling alone and just starting to plan…
