Shop for Fun is an online fashion game where you build a dream wardrobe and create outfits to win Amazon gift certificates.
How I did it: In some ways it took me a year rather than a day. Last Christmas I bought a lovely 'life planner' ie a posh diary, and it had a folder inside, in which I kept keepsakes from memorable experiences - tickets from shows, postcards, brochures from exhibitions... and made notes in my diary whenever I'd seen a good film or enjoyed a day out. I’d kept keepsakes, tickets, etc all through the year in my diary. At the start of the year I’d also made quite detailed notes about what I’d enjoyed, when. It gets less frequent as the year goes by, which is a shame.
So I’ve been through my diary for 2009 (which is a luxurious hardbound journal) and stuck in the tickets to shows, the tea labels from afternoon tea, etc.) and it’s inspired me to plan some fun stuff for 2010. Well worth doing. 3 years ago
