I think I’m going to buy a composition book to write in.
How to have better handwriting
How I did it: I had a teacher with beautiful chalk-board writing and every loop/line of a letter would be seperate, and he would pick up his chalk in between; writing slowly is key, so doing this helped me concentrate slowly on my writing.
Lessons & tips: Slow is key, so find things to concentrate on that will help you write slowly. Things like a cursive "c" taking Two strokes. Pick up pencil in-between strokes, don't be afraid to re-trace. Kind of like sketching, many short imprecise strokes can overlap and lead to one good looking letter.

the new handwriting has settled in, and it’s looking not too bad – I’m happy with the changes. I’ll probably review it again some time next year.
CarolynMary I don't give a damn, I'm happy as a clam.
Must change this.
Seems really interesting. Thought others might like it too:

Perhaps it’s for little kids, but I have found websites that let your print out tracing/handwriting practice paper for FREE!
Very fun.

I can read it fine, but when I know other people are going to see it I have to spend ages on it to make sure it legible! Its not like kids writing or anything but I tend to scrawl, especially when I’m rushing. I’ve tried not joining up and that does look like kids writing!

starting journaling again. Ha. I’m so glad I don’t do cursive p’s and s’s any more.

it’s slowly, slowly getting better. I’m happy with the actual letters and the direction it’s going. Everything starts to look more regular, and as if it’s a properly designed font.

One of my things on the to-do-list that kept falling off was to write more – start journaling again or something – to let my new handwriting settle in. I never got around to it, so it’s all messy again. I need to write for a few months, then go back and look at my handwriting again to see what could be tweaked.
