steps to take: make a picutre of my kitchen and post it in 43 things, writing down what I need for renovation, gather together what I already have. Make an appointment, at a weekend in March. Ask two friends for help.

The contractor started today, said he’ll hopefully be done by Friday. I really hope this is worth all the money we’re spending…. what if it isn’t???

I thought this would be a long way down the road but I have most of the info I need to get it started. Now I need to get our taxes done and figure out how best to pay for everything. Very exiting!

I used a local contractor, and designed it, basically myself, but with the help of a wonderful designer at Lowes in brooklyn. I would never go back to Home Depot ever again in my life if i could help it. i first went to them and they were horrible.
If anyone wants any advice, contact me. Joan Bacchus at lowes was my designer, and she rocked!

OMG this is so crazy, the demolition began yesterday, I have decamped to brooklyn on sunday. It is really happening now. But i still haven’t ordered my floor!!!
