Groningen (north of the Netherlands) has the temperature of Paris 10 years ago. The canals don’t freeze any more and we cannot skate on them. The ice rink is more like a lame swimming pool. And our thin fragile snow (2 days a year at max) turns into mud as soon as you touch it. Would someone fix the global warming please ?
How to build a snowman
How I did it: Well, obviously I used my hands (with mittens of course) and we used sticks (as usual) for the hands and for the eyes I do not recall what we used but basically made three balls of different sizes and place them on top of each other.

Last year me and my friends went for a weekend in Prague. It was January and it was FREEZING – and best of all… snow!
Lots and LOTS of snow!
On the first night there we found the hotel, threw our thigns in our rooms and then headed out to find some pubs. By the time it was around 5am we arrived back at the hotel and me and Dave decided we wanted to build a snowman.
We were so drunk we didn’t even feel the cold as we built that thing in the snow on the grass outside our hotel.
The snow was so great that it practically built itself. It was so easy.
And our snowman stayed there all weekend, and we smiled every time we saw it.
well..i live in australia and as you may know, or may not know, we have no snow except in mt kosciusko.
I visited mt kosciusko and i saw snow and believe it or not.. i built a snowman!!! xD
but he looks a little..strange. i didn’t exactly have snowman building skills at the time >_<
haha.. LOOK AT HIM!!
Seeing as I currently live in the Arizona heat, soaking in the sun, I haven’t really been around snow since I was three, well at least not unless I was on vacation with places to go and people to see. That’s 11 long years and seeing as I was only three, I don’t remember it all to well. Now that I’m moving back to Iowa, I am fairly certain this goal will be up, up, and away the first snowfall of the year.
I love building snowmen! The more wacky the better. Throw away those dang corncob pipes and button noses. Give me Mr.Potato Head lips, and lace bras any day!
GelaTin is getting bored
I will build a snowman. I will. I will. I will. If it’s the last thing I do
I haven’t done it for years (can’t remember when I last did actually, I haven’t done this year, because it hasn’t snowed for long enough, I’ve seen snow this year, a bit, and taken some pictures, but that’s it) but I have in the past. I remember one time when I was young I made a snow-cat and one time I made a snow-woman!
I might have a chance to accomplish this goal this weekend. I’m going on a junior varsity retreat in Wisconsin and supposedly there is already two feet of snow. Perhaps I can convince some girls to build one with me!
