I’ve never done this because I’ve lived in Texas my whole life, and in 21 years there hasn’t been enough snow to make a full size snowman (probably even if you added up all the snow over all of the years, lmao)
I really want to!

How I did it: Well, last year it snowed in my town. It NEVER snows here. Anyway, I scraped snow off of the picnic table in my backyard and made a snowman. Three snowballs, small, medium, and large. The cliche thing is carrot nose and coal for eyes and buttons, but you don't have to do that. In my case, we have gravel in the yard, so I used those for eyes and buttons, a baby carrot for the nose (he was small because there wasn't very much snow), and som… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I've been waiting for it to be warm enough for me to wander outside. While I find the winter to be aesthetically pleasing, I just can't stand the cold. Today was around 40 degrees and sunny; a perfect day for snowmen. I wandered out to my apartment building's court yard, and while ignoring what other people might think, I made snowmen up against a brick wall. Read how I did it…
How I did it: You need a big ball of snow for the body and a little one for the head. They'll be too big to make into balls in your hands so try rolling them around the garden (or wherever your snow is). We used coal for eyes, buttons and mouth as we had a coal shuttle but you can probably use stones if you don't. A carrot for the nose is a must! And give him a scarf and/or a hat. Arms are optional, I don't think we used to bother but some people use b… Read how I did it…

How I did it: For a treat for the Seniors, my school took us skiing. On the third day, my friend and I had both hurt our legs skiing. I had twisted my knee in a *wonderful* fall and hers was playing up so we ended up walking around taking photos. We both found a spot out of the way of a ski run near the lodge and set to work. We sat in the snow (quite cold but easier) and made a mound of snow for the body and the head was harder. We used our stellar sa… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, obviously I used my hands (with mittens of course) and we used sticks (as usual) for the hands and for the eyes I do not recall what we used but basically made three balls of different sizes and place them on top of each other. Read how I did it…

Juho and I went for a walk yesterday evening and once we were crossing one park & realized that the snow was at the time absolutely perfect for making a snowman, we threw ourselves into work.
It was so much fun! We ended up being really wet and feeling chilly, but it was so worth it. And our snowman was beautiful. A torso of a female dancer, taller than us. (And Juho isn’t short, he’s about as tall as I am!) Lovely, isn’t it? :)
I’ve found myself thinking about the figure many times today, wondering if she has melted or if someone has attacked her. I’d rather not know, heh. I’ll just imagine her standing there, looking at the ice rink serenely.
Can’t remember when was the last time I made a snowman before this lady of ours. Must have been ages ago.
Duckie wishes she was rich.
It snowed really, really heavy last night and to my fucking delight it was all still there this morning, so my sister and I got to work and this cool dude here is the result. Notice that he’s wearing a trilby. Oh yeah, he’s one cool motherfunkie!
=]
Made one! For the first time in ages! It was cool, quite a bit of work though – it looked good when I’d finished though!
I live in Tennessee where the weather is really erratic. We do get snow, but never enough for snowman material. I’ve always wanted to build one.
Last year me and my friends went for a weekend in Prague. It was January and it was FREEZING – and best of all… snow!
Lots and LOTS of snow!
On the first night there we found the hotel, threw our thigns in our rooms and then headed out to find some pubs. By the time it was around 5am we arrived back at the hotel and me and Dave decided we wanted to build a snowman.
We were so drunk we didn’t even feel the cold as we built that thing in the snow on the grass outside our hotel.
The snow was so great that it practically built itself. It was so easy.
And our snowman stayed there all weekend, and we smiled every time we saw it.
well..i live in australia and as you may know, or may not know, we have no snow except in mt kosciusko.
I visited mt kosciusko and i saw snow and believe it or not.. i built a snowman!!! xD
but he looks a little..strange. i didn’t exactly have snowman building skills at the time >_<
haha.. LOOK AT HIM!!

Seeing as I currently live in the Arizona heat, soaking in the sun, I haven’t really been around snow since I was three, well at least not unless I was on vacation with places to go and people to see. That’s 11 long years and seeing as I was only three, I don’t remember it all to well. Now that I’m moving back to Iowa, I am fairly certain this goal will be up, up, and away the first snowfall of the year.
